About Vote Right

Vote Right was created by two friends who approach politics from different positions on the centre-right. One immigrated to Britain, later becoming a British citizen, and is a member of the Conservative Party. The other is not and never has been a member of a political party but has voted Conservative in the past while generally supporting and voting Reform UK more recently.

We disagree on plenty but share one frustration: the Conservatives and Reform UK often compete for the same broad pool of voters, allowing a divided centre-right vote to hand constituencies to parties that most of those voters (indeed, a plurality of voters in a given constituency) did not support. We would prefer the parties to find a constructive way forward themselves. Until they do, voters should have the information needed to make their own tactical choice.

Voters on the left already have several well-established tactical-voting services. We think centre-right voters should have access to the same clear, constituency-specific information.

Independence and funding

Vote Right is independent of both parties. It is not endorsed, funded or directed by or affiliated with the Conservatives, Reform UK or any other political party or organisation. We take no external funding and cover the modest running costs ourselves. This is a volunteer-run, non-commercial project.

We bring together publicly-available election results, polling and relevant local evidence and present it in a form which would-be centre-right voters can actually use. We publish how our recommendations are reached and we will say plainly when a seat is too close to call or when no centre-right party has a realistic route to winning a given constituency.

Our recommendations are merely information, not instructions. The final decision on how to vote is of course yours.

Every constituency page carries a factual-correction link. Where a correction materially changes a result, the change is explained in the next update and recorded in the changelog.
